The Major Research Initiatives Team provides prioritised support for strategic, high value, multidisciplinary and collaborative funding opportunities. Our team delivers specialist advice in the planning, coordination, development, and submission of complex major research initiatives and funding opportunities.

Support provided by the team includes:

Horizon scanning of funding opportunities and targeting of specific opportunities
Coordination of selected large-scale, collaborative funding submissions, including liaising with external stakeholders and partner organisations
High-quality proposal development
Advice provided on complex research budgets
Assistance with negotiation of external partner contributions towards grants
