Worldwide Universities Network (WUN)

This alliance exists to make significant advances in knowledge and understanding in areas of global concern.

By fostering and encouraging collaboration between members, Worldwide Universities Network (or WUN) brings together the experience, equipment and expertise necessary to tackle the big issues currently facing societies, governments, corporations and education.

WUN is a select group of research-intensive universities, which have agreed to carry out research and research training on a collaborative basis. Through a number of programs, WUN provides support to member universities to facilitate student and staff exchanges, the development of international training programs and collaborative research work.

Resources available

WUN supports personal and academic growth through the Research Mobility Program, which allows postgraduate students and staff at member universities to spend time at other institutions in the network. It enhances the learning experience and internationalises curricula through the development of e-learning theory, practice and programs. It organises regular online seminars that are available to staff and students.

Seminars are delivered by leading academics with themes and topics ranging across the research spectrum.

UWA Research Collaboration Awards

To encourage researchers to benefit from our association with WUN, UWA provides funding on a competitive basis to support staff and postgraduate students to initiate, expand and maintain collaborative research projects with WUN partners.

WUN Research Development Fund

The WUN Research Development Fund offers grants of up to GB£15,000 (approx. AU$27,500) to support research collaborations.
