UWA Research Development Awards

The UWA Research Development Award scheme is designed to provide an opportunity for early career researchers to develop skills required for submitting grant applications and research plans.  These skills would be built upon for future research projects and to build track records for external grant competitiveness.  It replaces the UWA Research Grants scheme.

Grants are awarded for one year only. A maximum of $30,000 can be awarded, and up to an additional $14,500 for teaching relief.

An information session presented by Professor Harvey Millar is scheduled for 3.00pm
on Tuesday, 28th of April 2009 at Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Room G11. 
Advice will be provided regarding the writing of successful grant applications and the 
UWA Research Development Awards Application Form and Rules will be discussed.
Closing Date for Applications: This scheme will reopen in 2010
