Role of the Research Development Office
The Research Development Office works closely with the Research Executive and researchers to enhance UWA’s research excellence.
Research Development is a proactive area of Research Services aimed at diversifying and increasing UWA’s external research funding. Research Development Officers (RDOs) provide strategic advice and assistance to researchers on issues related to research funding opportunities, facilitating research collaborations – internally and externally, with the public and private sectors, and national and internationally; establishing industry links with a view to research partnerships and delivering workshops on funding schemes and career development to the research community.
