Research Grants Office
The Research Grants Office is responsible for administering all research grants, postdoctoral fellowships and travel awards including funding from external agencies, UWA Research Committee schemes; and research contracts tenders and consultancies. This includes legal arrangements and financial reporting as well as preparation of applications through to completion.

Research Integrity
Research Integrity and Animal Care incorporates Human Research Ethics, Animal Ethics, Biological Safety and the Animal Care Unit. These sections are coordinated by the Manager of Research Integrity and Animal Care, Ms Susan Lewis.
The Research Integrity Office is responsible for administration and policy issues relating to experimentation on human participants and animals, and for biological safety. Administrative staff receive and process research applications for consideration by the Human Research Ethics Committee, the Animal Ethics Committee, and the Institutional Biosafety Committee, in order to ensure procedural and policy compliance with State Government legislation and associated regulations.

The Animal Care Unit
The Animal Care Unit (ACU) of UWA is part of Research Services, an academic service directorate of the Registrar’s Office. The Unit is accountable to the Animal Ethics Committee (AEC) for all welfare associated issues and to the Board of Animal Facilities for financial management.
