Graduate Research School

The University of Western Australia Graduate Research School coordinates all graduate research training activities, including the administration of the University’s Higher Degrees by Research. The School is responsible for:

• Promoting the University's graduate research programmes and recruiting graduate research candidates

• Facilitating interdisciplinary and cross-departmental programmes of graduate research

• Promoting graduate research studies within the University

• Serving as a focal point for graduate research candidates, including taking an active role in grievance conciliation and resolution

• Providing administrative support to the Board of the Graduate Research School and the Scholarships Committee

• Administering all aspects of research higher degree (by thesis) candidature and examination
