Building and Maintaining sustainable research partnerships for ARC Linkage Projects

This workshop is part of the recently launched 'Engaging with ARC Linkage' initiative. Participants will be advised on strategies for building and maintaining sustainable research partnerships with the public and private sectors.  Included will be a short presentation by Professor Colin Raston.

Part one of the workshop focuses on identifying, preparing to approach, and approaching a potential Partner Organisation. The second part of the workshop, 'working with Partner Organisation/s', advises on how to develop research partnerships and projects which benefit all parties. Participants will be alerted to the potential barriers to successful collaborations and will be advised on how some of these can be avoided by discussing and clarifying potentially divisive issues at the outset. The final part of the workshop provides an overview of the assistance available to researchers from Research Services, Legal Services and OII.

There will be opportunities for questions and discussion.
