Animal Ethics is part of the Research Integrity Office, which also includes Human Ethics and Biosafety.

The Animal Ethics team is responsible for:

  • administration and policy issues relating to the use of animals in research and teaching.
  • processing applications for consideration by the Animal Ethics Committee to ensure procedural and policy compliance with State Government legislation and associated regulations.

Animal Ethics staff process applications submitted by researchers, through the Animal Ethics Committee.
