One of the objectives of UWA is to recruit, retain and develop high-quality researchers. The University Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Scheme enables early-career researchers to work at UWA with established researchers and to have access to high-quality research facilities and opportunities.

The Research Committee is inviting proposals under the University Postdoctoral Research Fellowships scheme in accordance with the guidelines and conditions.

Closing dates

  • January 2010 – Call for 2010 round.
  • April 2010 – Closing date.
  • May/June 2010 – Results likely to be available.

For this round, up to three new three-year (full-time) or four-year (75 percent research / 25 per cent teaching) university postdoctoral fellowships will be awarded.

  2. Complete and sign application cover sheet Part A, write your proposal and track record statement, organise referee reports to be attached to your application or sent directly via email.
  3. Send complete application Part A and Part B (empty) including proposal, track record statement and available referee reports to the designated School. (Please be aware that some schools have internal assessment procedures well before the deadline to submit the application to Human Resources. Your application must arrive at the school on time).
