The associate deans of research responsibilities are:

• facilitating of communication within/between faculties and schools
• giving advice on national and local research policy issues to faculty and school members
• enhancing UWA’s reputation and increasing research opportunities such as multidisciplinary approaches
• mentoring early career researchers and students, including the critical review of grants
• orientating new research staff and postgraduate students.
