New research funding arrangements for universities
Two programmes will replace the six research block grants:
UWA Crowd Research
Explore UWA's crowd sourcing and crowd funding projects.
The results of the 2017 UWA Research Collaboration Awards have been announced. We received a total of 117 highly competitive applications, requesting a total of $3,004,478.
A total of $824,093 in funding from the University has been awarded across 38 projects. These projects will expand the University’s research collaborations both nationally and internationally.
A further $126,842 in funding from the New Century Endowment Fund has been awarded across 5 Projects. This funding will be used to support collaborations and research into breast cancer and kidney disease.

RESEARCH WEEK 2016
UWA Research week grows in momentum each year and in 2016 we hosted more than 4300 visitors and participants in over 50 events across campus.
The diverse range of research on show was a defining characteristic this year, engaged the audiences and community who now have a greater appreciation of the value and impact of the work we do.
